I have this on My Win 7 Utimate Premium rig and have no problems within this or any other games...except....

I have no deck gun ammo, apart from the high explosive shells.

HE rounds are all you get and you must click on them to activate and load.
Still, you get plenty to sink some ships.

You get both HE and AP with Websters Upgraded Deck Gun MOD.

Check to see that the MOD actually installed correctly. It may have simply created a new folder in your SH4 Root Directory. If the MOD is correctly installed, you WILL have AP and HE available-

I think the MOD has two options- v1 and v2, you have to manually select and unzip your choice folder into your MODS folder. Otherwise, it won't work.

He won't be likely to be sinking many ships w/ his deck gun using TMO. That is a risky proposition. :rotfl2:

True, and I've never yet figured out which ships have which range for their guns by day and by night.

But you you can certainly score a fair tonnage each patrol with the big gun. Easiest is to finish off something that you've stopped but you dont want to spend another torpedo on.

And then there's shooting by radar on a foul night from 500 yds - that lightens the gloom!

My own invented trick isto eyeball something like a minesweeper - something warlike but slow - get its attention and then go into astern emergency to keep the range constant while you whittle it down. Couldn't have happened in reality, but just like in real war if your going to win your going to have to cheat. (says he whose military experience began and ended with the Boy Scouts!)

Hi, I got the loadouts wrong, its HE I dont have, only have the AP and Starshell
What file/s would I look at to alter this?
