No Fish Left in the Sea????

well, ive started happy days campaign, and ive done the coastal thing already, but the 200k and 10 ships thing is not going well AT ALL. i scoured the seas for a month and a half and i have found NOTHING. does any1 know a good place to camp thats inside the operations zone where convoys pass through cause ive sunk 1 ship the entire time.

hello CaptainMattJ. what type of mods do you have up and running. i believe if you have the Black Sea enabled it takes all the boats from one area and puts them in another because the demands on the engine game are too large to have them spawning everywhere - i may have explained this wrong, but i have read a thread of this type of thing ...not so long ago...

also what date are you playing from? find it hard to believe you have not seen just one ship if everything is alright - 'specially in Happy Days.but dont worry, some one with more info will be along soon - im going back to bed!

I thought you said you kept encountering unescorted convoys and you wanted less convoy encounters? Anyway, if you are seen by aircraft, convoys will be routed around your position, so don't just ignore them, evade them. Also, check you map for reports of inbound convoys and try to plot an intercept course to meet them. Plot to get to their track as fast as possible, then go right down their track to try to find them.

i never said out in the open sea. however i do encounter alot near the coast, and whenever i get a radio repotr and plot an intercept they never come, so they either changed course or i got there too dam slow.i hate not being able to catch ANYTHING. 1 ship sunk isnt gonna help for jack. and ive encountered like 2 planes and ive been searching AAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLl around the op zone and came up emptyhanded

In a thread either in here or the mods forum, someone scanned the convoy routes map that came with the fancy version of the game. If you can find that, then it should tell you where the convoy lanes are and where your best chance for an intercept is. Have a search for it and see if you can find it, or maybe someone else knows where it is? Anyone?
