ok well its like february 17th and ive completed both the 50 and 100k cargo objectives, and i need to do blockade of germ. ive already sunk the 5 AMC ships, but not the carrier. if i dont sink carrier in time, will i fail the campaign???
edit: ok i know now that the awnser is no, however is there a deadline on the actual campaign itself?

you wont fail the campaign... you will still advance to the next campaign.
however, the next campaign will have a lot more escorts and warships etc.
every time you fail an objective, as far as im aware, it changes the difficulty of the next campaign.
someone tell me if thats right or wrong
The difference is that you will not have the option to choose the next campaign. For example I failed to complete all the missions in Western Approaches (because the stupid Winston's Special mission), so I missed the Operation Drumbeat because that require full victory in WA. That's the only difference.

Like Apple says about thier iPhone...
We have a MOD for that. :yeah:
There is a mod out there that lets you go to any campaign.
I think by FAR these STUPID mission goals are one of the Devs BIGGEST errors with SH5. Totally closes down the "openess" that most gamers desire after games like Oblivion, GTA II, IV, V.... and sims like MS flight Sim.
Nice way to turn off both gamers and simmers...

life will be more difficult.
expect tons of single DDs or groups of DDs patrolling around and more task forces looking for you in the next campaign.

If you playing stock that wont be an issue being as the AI is about as dumb as a box of rocks. Only time a DD ever scarred me is when I was going thru the Channel at 1024 TC and a DD popped up right next to me.

well i failed both and i sunk 165k tons of cargo in one patrol on the next campaign. so i dont think its too hard. btw how do you know what ship to sink when you have to sink 10 ships of war material? or is it ust any 10 merchant ships?
