Another out of touch politician mocks his constituants...
Regardless of your stance on border enforcement there should be little tolerance for this kind of behaviour. Remember who works for whom...
A California congressman known for edgy sarcasm mocked an opponent of illegal immigration during a town hall meeting last week, asking, "Who are you going to kill today?" before the constituent, a self-identified Minuteman, posed his question.

My reply would have been:
"I don't plan on killing anyone today Representative, but I do feel rather inclined in making sure a certain politician is fired next election."

Stark said he would start a ladder company with the Minuteman if he designed the wall and doesn't shoot the people coming over.
"But I've got to know how high the wall is and I'll sell a whole lot of ladders for people who want to come," Stark said.

One day they may infact piss off their constituents enough that their bi-partisan house of cards comes tumbling down.
The Rs ignore the problem as much as the Ds.
There is a difference in their constituants.
But very little difference in the politicians.
Except:
The Ds move things to the left.
And the Rs leave them there.
I'm much happier with proportional representation.
Good luck with the 1½ party system, USA.

Oh, yes. I think it's awesome that some redneck state of like 5 million gets two Senators while California also only gets two Senators. That's really working out great for the little guy!!!

Those being your thoughts, then you WOULD be happier with preportional representation.
It eliminates the upper house, or senate in the case of USA.

Oh yea I think its awesome that the state in the union with the least amount of common sense (California) even gets to vote for anything national at all. Hell I'm surprised they trust anyone with a pen over there. I've always been in favor of voting Cali off the island(continent).
When that day comes, we will all thank Mother Nature.
