Hi guys

Thought I would update the people who attended the Subsim 2009 meeting.

Nautilus is still running fine. With some luck I will attend her "wargame" with the danish navy, where 3 destroyers will try and kill us.

The rocket is coming along fine. Planned first vertical test is late august.

Peter recently posted this from the navy in Denmark:

Theres an international navy visit and they dont need the aggravation of homemade weapons of massdestruction parading by..."

Pretty big sub, but are you allowed to sail outside Denmark waters? If so, wonder how will react a modern sub when u get on their contact list :D

I really hope I can get a chance to sail with her when the destroyers are looking for her :D That would be the coolest thing ever!

Thanks for the info McBeck. Nice to hear that Peter is not getting bored:DL.
Only yesterday I was telling someone about projects.
Please give him my regards and good luck to you if you do go playing wargames with 3 destroyers!

Anybody with knowledge on how modern sub-hunting excercises are performed? How do the subhunters score a "kill" or communicate that they have detected the sub?
