sonar man reading "BEARING 000"

Why does my sonarman tell me that every sonar contact is bearing 000 and when I ask for warship contact his answer is blank. I just patched it 1.4b but the older version worked fine.

Are there a bearing,however from 0-360, so is this correct you can hear self,but always "zero" sounds strange.....:hmm2:

Yes, very strange. Have you tried turning when you got a 000 bearing reported? Did the bearing report change to a different value?

yeah no matter where the target is (30,90,340 degrees) it always tell me its at 000 degrees. I have checked with the periscope to cionfirm and it the sonar mans problem

Did you apply any mods yet? Did the patch apply correctly? The current version number should show up in the lower right of the main menu.

Try reinstalling the patch....you may need to reinstall the whole game though if the patch refuses to overwrite itself.

The Encore version, which comes without Starforce, and requires no patching, fixed many hydrophone and sonar problems.
