Why is it when Arizona passes a law that allows authorities to check on someones imigration status when detained they are derided lambasted and labeled as racisist?

But when a law is passed to allow police to check and arrest pepole for not having ID (note no detention necessary) its called security?

TORONTO — The Ontario government secretly passed legislation giving police sweeping new powers for the duration of the G8 and G20 summits.

Police are now able to jail anyone who refuses to furnish identification and submit to a search while within five metres of a designated security zone in downtown Toronto.

It looks to be a measure to protect foreign dignitaries as opposed to chasing illegals out of the country. Sounds like it's causing an uproar among some, though.

Just remember: when you're near an international summit, have your ID handy. ;)

Thats where Mussolini went wrong.
He should have put a law in place where he could have asked people for ID, that way the British couldn't have sneaked in.
Actually if he did a really tough law like was suggested here recently and made it known that any infringement of visa conditions would result in being shot then you can be assured the British would never have dreamt of entering Italian territory
