What I'd like to see (Commandos)

A modern take on the Commandos series, in the form of a tactical/stealth shooter. Forget, uh, Commandos Strike Force, the closest thing I can think of is Hidden and Dangerous 2.
I wouldn't mind if they take the maps from the 2d games and re-create them in 3d because the change of perspective would already generate a different kind of gameplay.

In November 2006 Spanish Website Revogamers reported that Pyro Studios had started work on an unnamed adventure game for the Wii.

Oh yeah....Commandos....hell, i loved these series. Felt a little bit like Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood first time I played it :DL
Don´t know the title of the movie in english right now but in german it is " Agenten sterben einsam"

'Where Eagles Dare'. Good book, good movie. There was even a mission made after this, in Commandos 1 I think.

I'd say drop the cigar pack from the original games though. It was the most useful item in the whole game :DL

Loved the concept of Commandos. Wasn't too keen on the execution.

I too wish someone would make a good tactical/stealth shooter, Commando-themed or otherwise, but nobody seems to be able to make them well. :(
