Fellow Captains,
I just subscribed to this most interesting forum after reading much of the threads especially on SH3 and SH4, which will soon be installed on my computer. I'll read some more things on tactics and then hopefully post some impressions and descriprion of a campaign. :-)
Let me compliment also with all the modders that have done an outstanding job in order to improve these (but also others) games.
In real life... I am 23, I come from Italy, and I am cuurently studying Political Sciences at Milan, I have two exams and the dissertation to write so I'm starting to see my degree at the horizon.:know: :D I have spent a semester in Madison (WI) as an exchange student in 2008 which was an unforgettable experience (rigid climate though, but one gets used to it), and I'd like to go back around those parts or in GB for work or maybe a Ph.D. if there will be the possibility, as I'd love to remain in the research and teaching field.
In the meantime I have been doing selections as an Auxiliary Officer for both Coast Guard-Port Captaincies and Air Force, alas in the first one was sent away at the medical visits for a congenite hearing defect I did not know to have, and in the second was unlucky at the very first phase logic quizzes.
This autumn will try the selections for Maresciallo (Italian ranks that stands between Sgt and 2nd LT) in Carabinieri (police force but with military status) and as Auxiliary Officer (2nd LT) again in our Air Force.
