Best Combination of Mods

Okay i'm confused.

What to folks think are the best combination of mods to add to patch V1.4

also how do you use the patches i'm not clear on the procedure can somone please explain what to do once you have downloaded them.

Mods are always a matter of personal choice, and you will never get a complete concensus on what is "best" - only what different people like.

Patches should come with their own installers. All you need is the latest patch, which is 1.4 unless you want u-boats as well, then you need to buy 1.5. if you have SH4 UBM Gold then it is already fully patched.

If not then just run the installer on 1.4 and it will take care of the rest.
