Missions and campaign end

When i finished the Weserubing missions in total germany, it istantly ended the campaign, preventing me to finish the patrol.

Will it happen also for the other campaigns? The only mission i'm missing for the "Happy times" campaign is "Pride of the Royal Navy", but there's still a lot of time since the deadline.
Will it immediately conclude the campaign again as soon as I sink the second capital ship?

if so i might just want to hold back so that the happy times will last a lil longer :D

I believe this is tied to the end date on the campaigns.

Stupid, I know, but if you're at sea on the end date of the campaign you're working on, you'll run into this.

actually i'm quite sure that when itr happened it was quite a bit earlier than the deadline. As soon as the ship sunk, the campaign ended. I mean the very instant she sunk.
