HI ,

was wondering what the 'rollback' function is?

I was going to install the new merchant fleet mod and had read somewhere that I needed to do a rollback.

Will this affect my current careers?

No, it won't hurt your careers at all. Just make sure you wait until you are in port between patrols.

The Rollback simply disables all the settings so the new mod doesn't interfere with what's already there (at least I think that's how it works). Then the next time you use Commander it reads everything that's there and re-enables everything together, including the new stuff.

Unless you are a dedicated mod maker who uses Commander for testing there is no reason not to use 'Auto-Rollback'. That way you never need worry about it again. That's what I do, and I've never had a problem.

Edit - I see , I can select 'auto' in the options.

thanks for the help

I think Commander needs a Rollover function, so that it gives me money every time I use it to fire up SH3. :yeah:

I would like a Popover function, so that it would serve me fresh delicious pastry treats at 0800 hours every day I'm on patrol.

Which leads me to want of a Flipover function, so that it serves me blueberry pancakes every time I sink an unfriendly merchant.

Rollback removes the mods from SH3 that Commander put in/enabled at the start of the patrol.

Also like Steve put it :DL
