I nominate myself on the platform that at least I'm not a Democrat or Republican. I can't promise much in the way of policy other than that I will veto pretty much everything, if not everything, that congress passes. I will also cut costs by replacing the presidential Marine guards with myself. If I manage to get taxes cut, I will cut them for everyone, not just certain brackets. My only answer to pandering special interests will be "If you're that great, why are you asking me to steal money from other people and give it to you? Get the hell out of my office!"

Unlike politicians, I am not arrogant enough to believe that I will be leading the country. America should be run by the American people and the rule of law, not some misguided personal agenda. I will not ask anything that I would not do myself. If this nation goes to war, it will be with a resigned president on the front lines. If it enjoys peace and prosperity, it will not be with a financially well-off public servant in the White House, but with a normal guy makes the median income of about $45,000.

I may not be a politician, and I won't promise you the world, but I can promise to be honest and lead by example.
