Well tonight I took the cake, boys and girls.
I hit a convoy in AM01 heading north-east. As I approached it, I got spotted, and each time a Flower class escort came to pay me a visit. I submerged and nailed each one in turn with a magnetic electric torpedo under its chin.
Then I turned back to the convoy. It was huge - 18 ships, with the HMS Nelson riding along in the middle!
I did an end-around on the convoy, slipped into position, and nailed the Nelson with 4 torpedoes. That put her down.
So then I surfaced to see what I could do with 110 rounds of 105mm cannon!
Unfortunately there was a freighter that had a pair of machine guns on it. They ripped me up pretty good until I got under and put a couple of fish into her.
Then I surfaced and let the slaughter begin. There was one other freighter in the pack that had machine guns, it also ripped me pretty good until I submerged and nailed her.
I even got a one-shot-kill on a small freighter with the 105. Guess it was carrying ammo or something.
In the end, I expended all my 105 ammo, and sent a few ships to the bottom with the AA guns. My crew was utterly exhausted. I had 3 torpedoes left at the end but my crew was taking hours to pull them in.
Of course, this was completely unrealistic. The convoy would have scattered, and I could not have pulled in external torpedoes while sailing along in the midst of a convoy.
But it sure was fun! I freaking OWNED that convoy. This was at 100% realism also.
I took lots of screen shots but this will have to do for tonight.

18 merchant ships, 5 warships, including the battleship Nelson. Wiped out the entire convoy!
75,250 tons of merchants, 39,800 tons of warships. 4230 renown, and the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds.
You don't get much more aggressive than that!!!!!!!!
