Hi bubba,
So you've reached that age where you think the world is unfair, eh? Well, did you know that in the Middle Ages your skater-doo and flashy yellow plaid flannel would have probably landed you in the dungeon? Yep, it's true. So quit whining and do your homework. Then read this:

P.S. Please avoid the sake on December 31, 1999. :03:

I've studied a lot of history, but there's always something new to learn. I'll remember that lesson. :sunny:

Don't tell me you're from Singapore?
or similarly oppressive state?
or one of those states with a 15th century government sytle?!!
As for the notion of realization that the world is not fair well that's very true but I sincerely holds the view that life is VERY FAIR. Of course most people question to what extend you define life because most people don't know what awaits them after death.
But I cannot help to correct the word that it is not the world that is unfair but the people who are acting unfair. So the most accurate sentence would be. People of this world is generally unfair mostly because most people are still primitive both in their desires and actions. Admit it most people are just primal. But life is FAIR make no mistake about it but I know people are gambling their life with their belief that life isn't fair and capitalize on it. I wouldn't join their bandwagon. I know better.

Nope, I am a US citizen. I wrote the letter as a disguise for the Wikipedia link. ;)

It's interesting how many different paths I took yesterday to find a good reference photo of a halberd. Found the photo, found numerous pages on medieval clothing, found some really exquisite plate armor, too. :DL
Check out the craftsmanship on these armors (click pictures to embiggen):

And this, probably the scariest-looking armor I've seen yet:

Now I want to learn metalworking. :sunny:

Now that you mention it, it reminds me of an Elemental sans SRM pack. Notice the jousting scars on the chest plate? :DL
