A good Friend of Unfair Park, through a friend of a friend of a friend, just shot us this extraordinary video captured early yesterday morning at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Took place at the north toll plaza, which served as a launching ramp for one drunk driver trying to exit the airport in a hurry. DFW spokesman David Magana confirms: "The driver was, as you might guess, suspected of inebriation and investigated for such and arrested for such."

We also have fiery post-crash pics after the jump -- because after the driver went all General Lee, she got out and made a call on her cell, at which point the vehicle went boom. Hard to believe the "driver only suffered minor injuries," as Magana puts it. Oh -- and the toll-booth operator wasn't injured at all.

If she'd only lifted her landing gear a second or two earlier she would have cleared it easily :haha:

My mother has done something similar. Mind you she wasn't DUI.

She had actually gotten a brand new patrol car, went from an '05 Crown Vic to a '10. She had it for about a week before she had to go to a refresher course up state. So she decides to take her new car instead of a spare.

They were doing training in their cars, and since it was her and another female in her car versus two men in another car they were having a fun little competition.

They get to the point where it's pursue training, and her and her partner are the "crooks" running from the "cops". Taking part in the little competition, they are a ahead of the "cops". They take a curve too fast and end up hitting the curb and going airborne.
Eyewitnesses say they went a good 10 feet in the air. The car ends up coming down front left wheel first, so the chassis ends up bending. My mom had to wait 5 months before they fixed her car and gave it back to her. She ended up driving her old car in that time. :haha:
