Oncemore, a question. (Or, Has the game gone mad?)

Hello, i'd like to ask a question.:DL
My boat was stationed at Salamis. It is the 13th of May 1942 and i'm about to start a new patrol. I fire up SH3Commander and ss soon as i click on ''Start'' i get the message: The base was changed to: La Spezia. Fine,'cause i remember that if a boat is attached to the 23/29th flotilla a transfer will occur somewhere in May. I finished my patrol and docked at La Spezia. Then the game tells me that i'm assigned to flotilla ''null'' and not to the 23/29th. It does recognize though (how kind) that i'm docked at La Spezia. SH3Commander shows that i'm ''in home base before patrol 4'' but it reports ''Error! La Spezia'' probably meaning that it can't assign a flotilla name to this location(?) since we normally get sthg like ''2nd Flotilla, Lorient''.

So, i fire up the game via SH3Cmdr and now it tells me that my boat is attached to the 1st flotilla while i'm stationed at La Spezia.:doh:
I'm playing GWX3.

Could any kind soul please tell me why this happens or what the game is actually ''thinking''?:doh:

Can i ignore this anomaly or whatever without running the risk of a CTD?

P.S. I'm extremely curious to find out why the game tells me my boat is attached to the 1st flotilla.

Try applying for a transfer to wherever you are because it looks like you may have returnrd to port bang on the day before or the day the port change is due (I have not checked the Flotilla CFG file to be certain mind).

I suspected the same thing as you jimbuna and i've already tried to make a transfer to the 2nd flotilla and to the whatever -i don't remember- but my request was denied.:88)

The flotilla .cfg includes the following block but i don't see the day at which the flotilla becomes available.

The 23/29 Flotilla were in Salamis until 4/42 then transferred to La Spezia on 5/42....ensure you have historic U-boat availability dates selected (just in case this is adding to the phenomena) and set yourself a patrol grid via SH3 Commander, your new base should be available on your return.

Failing that, go to a previous save and teleport back (Esc).

Thanks. By the way i've just loaded a save and docked again two days later than before (the 30th). This time there were ships patrolling and i even spotted a convoy leaving the port. I got the same error though.
Anyway, i'll just start a new patrol as you suggest. This will fix it.

Actually, i was thinking... I docked on the 30th of May 1942 and today the date is 30th of May (2010). Do you think there is any relevance?
