Tho I think most here do read the reviews before they spend their hard earned money on new hardware.
To those kinda new at this ...
Don't, I repeat don't just rely on reviews wher your buying it. (Newegg, TigerDirect, Amazon Ect...) And I buy mostly from them myself.
The most you'll hear is DOA out of box. But nothing about after support problems.
To get more complete reviews. Example a MOBO.
Google Make and Model# plus "Reviews"
Get to know more about how the Company handles that specific model for support and if that model is a problem child.
That way your purchase if,down the road there's a problem, can still be somewhat a happy experience.
It's bad enough if a piece of hardware breaks for no reason.
The Misery shouldn't continue during the Support\Warranty Process.
Remember... Part of the purchase price is Warranty and Support.
I posted this because a friend of mine almost learned the hard way.
BTW. After a phone call to Newegg support and telling them of the hassle, their response was...
If ECS Elitegroup support didn't make good. They (Newegg) would apply his full purchase price PLUS a $25.00 discount on any mobo with the same CPU Socket and Free Shipping.
 to Newegg.
Hope this is of some help to members here.
