Hey friends! Just busy at school for a good 2 months.
Had to work my butt off to get that A in Honors Trig.
I went from a B- to an A. A whole 15%. It was a project that the teacher assigned, had to be related to trigonometry. So I showed a 4 page essay
(complete with diagrams and captions) on how to plot a course and sink a ship successfully.

My teacher said it was a good project, but I would never use that skill.
I was on the verge of crying.

Teachers start teaching before they have learned about life. They get stuck in what the French call: Deformacion profesionelle.

A long time ago someone posted in one of the Manual Targetting threads that he never thought the trig he learned in high school would be useful. Makes me wish I'd learned more, but math leaves me struggling to breathe.
And my older daughter teaches high-school math!:dead:
