2 patrols at last

Just completed my 2nd patrol after a lot of mistakes and getting sunk.
This time I played vanilla and started in 1941 from Pearl Harbour.
Sunk 5 merchants so far but all by deck gun, my torpedo shooting is rubbish at the moment. 2 torps from 1100yds and 70% both missed and next go was just as bad from 900yds and 65 %.
Checked tutorials but my maths must be letting me down:oops:.

I will just have to practice more.

No doubt target speed is the problem, you can be a little off on AoB and range but speed must be very close.

Track your targets a little longer and use the three minute rule.

Make sure your Torpedo Doors are open before firing, those 2 seconds to open and fire can cause you to miss. It drove me crazy when i first started playing.
