I mean the AI, not you... Is there ever a point where they are accomplished enough to hand the job without you stepping in ever hour or two?

Thanks

Yes, with experience and promotion they do get better within the parameters and limitations of the equipment. I currently use RFB 2.0 and TMO 1.9.

At what point does this happen? 2 patrols? 3 patrols? the last year of the war?

I can trust them pretty well after you get the sonar specialist and the expert lookout but i think there pretty good after the 3rd time out.
