Help on window mode

When trying to play in fullscreen - Resolution=1024,768,60,22, the game freeze after the intro. Same result in others resolution. How to play in fullscreen in lower resolutions?

Sorry, I have no clue; do you have v1.2? Any mods?

What is the advantage, if any, of using the window mode?

When you say freeze is it just a black screen? Does any sound continue to play?

Just wondering if this may be a case where your monitor not being able to switch to the frequency of the fullscreen 3D display? Intro movies tend to play in a different screen mode to the main game display. Run the game in Windowed mode first then go to Options and check the Hz value for the current resolution and try selecting the other frequency setting for 1024 x 768 (you may have one for 70 Hz or 75 Hz). Most resolutions are listed twice for different frequencies.
