Question about GWX 3.0

Is there any way to reducing the time of loadingscreen ? when I start a patrol or a single mission it takes a long time to load !! and without the GWX 3.0 the game load fast .

My specs
intel pentium4 3.6ghz
2 giga ddr2 ram
512ddr3 geforce 9800 gtx+

and i have no lag when the game is started with or without GWX 3.0
any ideas ...

Its all those ships in GWX dose it I believe, still worth the couple of minutes wait.

There's no alternative I'm afraid....it is down to all the additional content included in GWX and the fact that The SH3 game engine loads the entire set of files in one bootup.

I bought myself a new PC primarily to increase SH3 performance.

I got a Core i7-930 with 6GB RAM, with an Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT with 1GB of RAM.

I bought it from cyberpowerPC for less than I could buy the components at NewEgg.

I started with the base system ($799) and tweaked it just a bit - I think my delivered price was $950.

Well it's worth the wait. Because it is better than SH4 and SH5.

The 16k mod also slows it down. this is the real weakness of SH3 because it has to load EVERYTHING in the dynamic campaign. Where as in SHIV it's broken down into smaller chunks. SH3 w/GWX is still the best sub sim of all time even with the load times. No DRM, stable... tons of quality mods...

My load times with GWX are around 13 minutes or so.

@OP:
Make sure you enable the Lite Harbor Traffic mod that comes with GWX. Knocks down load times a bit and make sure you don't have the Meged Campaigns enabled.
