View Full Version : Mod available for clickable stations?
Hi, is there a mod yet that alows th player to clikc to his position rather than walk through the ship? this is the one thing I need. Basically like sh2 or 3 where you click on an icon and enter the engine room, radio roo,.sonar, uzo station. I liked that aspect of it. Thx.:shifty:

I don't think there are clickable stations, BUT you can edit Commands.cfg Located ( #:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Cfg\Commands.cfg ) and edit your keys to jump around to various places. Try Jimimadrid's Keymaper MOD http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=168297 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=168297)
I have edited a couple spots to jump around to before & I think most of them work

Darkwaraith's ui mod does have it where you can teleport to one or two stations in the sub.
I too hated having to go down the steps unless I am in the mood for it.
His mod only has a couple of stations but better than nothing.

You can teleport to all of the stations using TheDarkWraith's NewUI + TDC 2.4.0.

You can even click the Crash Dive button on the UI and it'll teleport you to the radio room, wait 5 seconds, then dive - allowing you to crash dive while on the bridge without climbing down first. (Crash Dive via key map still requires you to climb down.)

Is there a way I can just get the station menu?

Not sure exactly what you mean? That teleport bar is separate from the Officer orders below it, where you can click on the sonar guy and have him follow a target or report nearest warship contact for example. Or you can click on the Watch Officer and have him set the deck gun crew to fire at medium range at a targets weapons and open fire. Is it things like that you mean?

Oh, yeah, by default press "T" to bring up that teleport bar. Each officer has an option to teleport to his station from his orders as well.
Additionally you can map key presses to teleport to stations if you really wanted to:

Sorry I was meaning significant locations within the sub e.g. to the cook, to the engine room etc.

I'm confused as to how anyone would consider the cook more "significant" than say, the scopes. But I guess if you really like violins and soup it might be... :hmmm:

LOL your twisting my words. :timeout:
I was thinking the OP was getting tired of having to run to places to activate something such as overcharge engines, or maybe the torpedo section where you can pre heat topredos.
Anyway, whats wrong with the soup and violins ?
