Ahem... At risk of sounding silly, but where can I actually download the official 1.2 patch? The only patch I see on the official website at ubi.com is 1.1.

" ... When you start the game it auto patches ..."

( So i cannot download and store this patch for future use ?
Imagine i want to come back to the sim a few years ahead, are you sure UBIsoft will still provide an only-online patch ?
What an utter crap of !"§$%&/( has this game industry become ?!
Really i am becoming angry of this software industry ! Time someone stops their "Business" models ! )

Edit: sorry, just was shown the right link, so there is not only auto-patching with the game installed !
Thanks darkfin

Here you go. Even though it says 1.02 it is the 1.2 patch. I downloaded and used this one.

Which region version is that for?

Also whats the big deal about patching over the web? You have to be connected to play anyhow.

I agree! Until we can play without having to be online all the time, it's kind of moot isn't it?

Hello Steamwake,

Seems only for the EU, there are two versions, one for the "normal" EU release (79 mb) and one for the EU collector's edition (107 mb).
Don't know about the US versions.

Well you are certainly right with being to be forced to play online, however if all this updates and patches happen automatically (like in RoF) you are damned to play with the new patch, be it as screwed-up as it may. No going back, apart from uninstalling etc. etc., (but even then with a internet connection it will immediately update to the latest patch).

I want to decide myself when i add that patch, you may call this totally uncool, or old school. I like at least the illusion to be in control of things :D
