Help!! Cant update!!!

Hey fellow Kaleuns,
I uninstalled the game then erased SH5 from documents and ubi from C: and gamelauncher from prog files..

I didnot remove the files from the online storage..

I reinstalled and the files loaded @ 1.05 patch..

:hmmm::hmmm:

I dont know how to update the patch.. is there an option in the game launcher??

or how do I download and update manually.

When I started my game it automatically downloaded (before the launcher came up) and asked if I wanted to install.

I uninstalled for the 2nd time and reinstalled this time with no previous saves..

I downloaded 1.2 and as it unpacked, it said:

cant do with current version of game..

Guess it has to do with the second patch??

Anyway on how to uninstall it?

I had to manually download but the link I used looked like it was for europe. I wonder if there is any difference? Here is the link I found posted by ddrgn and it worked just fine. Do not know why my game did not self update! I like the compass! Thanks Devs!!:salute:

You can also run the file called GU in the following dir: SH5/Support/Gameupdater/

- automatic update * doesn`t work
- downloaded the patch from a/m link and game doesn`t patch * doesn`t work.
- tried the updater in de game * doesn`t work

Seems a few people are still waiting for the patch. I wouldn't worry yet , but if it takes a while then maybe contact UBI support?

Downloaded patch is version 1.02, is that correct ?
Shouldn`t it be 1.2????

Guess I'm lucky too. The patch won't update my game either. It won't update while online, nor the downloaded patch.

maybe ubi understood the patch download is just a flow of s**t right inside our computers and decided to stop it!
and maybe they are working on the 1.2.5 patch...
and maybe donkeys fly...

I have the steam version, and i also have the problem. Since it's installed via steam the path is D:\Spel\Steam\steamapps\common\silent hunter 5\Support\GameUpdater. When I run the updater it downloads the patch, start the patch program, and than give me "The setup has detected that no version of sh5 is installed..:" Get the same error when i try to install it from the downlaoded silent_hunter_5_1.02_eu.exe , and when i try with the silent_hunter_5_col_1.02_eu.exe i get a "This patch can not be installed with current game version" error.

Anyone has any ide how to get around/fix this?

Just wait for steam to update the game, it's a usual for steam to delay the updates.
As an option - try to run "verify integrity of game cache" hourly...

I really don't understand because steam users haven't yet the patch and no news about it. I'll never buy any games from steam. (Excuse me my poor english, I'm from Italy.)

After you reinstall the game and relogin with the secure ubi site . Then you can click on the sh5 icon and it will autopatch .
