ok, im a big pe-2 fan (the only one i gess) but i dont really know how to level bomb. one thing that realy annoys me is finding the actual hight above the target. how do you do this? it says to study the charts before the mission but how do you do that? also, where is the true airspeed indicator? thanks to anyone who answers!

Check the isntall directory, there should be .pdf (IIRC) with all the flyable planes' cockpits and explanations what everything is. Atleast IL2 1946 has that. :hmmm:

Good question.
Do both indicators show the same speed? If not, one might be your true airspeed indicator.
The higher you fly the less speed is indicated on your gauges so that you get quiet a discrepancy between indicated and true airspeed if you fly high. Some planes have a secondary gauge that shows the true airspeed (or at least it is supposed to show the true airspeed, I'm not sure how accurate this is as
I never use them).

An easy way to check is to set up a quick mission at high altitude with the speed and altitude gauge in the bottom left corner enabled. That displays TAS, and you can check it against your other airspeed indicators.
