Is there a way (or am I doing something wrong) when you press a function key f2, f3 etc the correct corresponding station buttons switch like they do if you double click the mouse ?
Using TMO OH 1.9

Not sure what you're asking here. TMO adjusted the F keys to the same config as was normal in SH3.
IIRC they are as follows:
F1 = Help screen
F2 = Command room
F3 = Attack Scope
F4 = Bridge
F5 = Map
F6 = Attack Map
F7 = Crew/Sub Status
F8 = Message Board
F9 = Conning Tower (where Sonar and Radar are located)
F10= Deck Gun
F11= AA Gun
F12= External view (depending on realism setting)
What are you referring to when you say "double-clicking the mouse". Double-clicking where, on what?
:salute:

Sorry....let me try again.
Say you are in the Navigation Screen and you have all the nav command buttons showing in the toolbar at the bottom. If you then hit F2 the buttons in the toolbar stay on the navigation ones.
You have to double click F2 with the mouse to bring up its corresponding toolbar buttons which sort of negates the idea of the F buttons in the first place
Gawd....I have confused my self there....did any of that make sense :oops:

......now you HAVE confused me, LOL, but that's not difficult to do at the best of times.:O:
Actually it's dawned on me what I think you're driving at.
You hit F5 to go to the nav map but the toolbar keys don't change. You have to click on the appropriate tab in the toolbar to bring up the nav tools like the setting course tab or the return to course tab. Are we on the same page now, LOL?
If that's what you mean, it's definitely a valid question but to be honest it's never struck me before. I'm not sure there's a mod out there for that, but your idea makes sense. It's only natural that if you go to the map then your toolbar should automatically have the map tools displayed so to speak.
I don't really have this problem as I use SHIV Speech and I just say "map" into my mike and I'm there then I say "resume course" and I get an "aye sir, returning to course" etc.

Now THAT is just showing off....:O:
Yep we are now on the same page....amazing how something so easy in your head becomes fuzzy when you try to express it in words :)
Its no biggy just a tad annoying
