What i would like to know is what exactly is being worked on that caused the delay in the first place.

But seriously folks, after the civil, mature and reasoned response yesterday both here and on the Ubisoft forums I would expect we will receive confirmation of the exact date about 24 hours after it has been downloaded onto your pc.
