It would have been interesting to read that review if Ubisoft had released their patch last week like they'd promised. Some of the performance issues he talks about were supposed to be fixed. Now they are just forcing two more weeks of a non-playable stock game.

That said, what a horrible review. His main complaints were with things that are supposed to be fixed with the never-coming-out patch or caused by his own fault. He even starts the review with "Patience is a virtue, apparently." then complains about not being able to use ridiculously high TC. Obviously doesn't "get" a sub sim's style of gameplay.

While the game has the ability to run at 4096 (actually 8192 or whatever), his POS PC doesn't. Plus most of the area in and around England isn't large enough to support the 4096x TC that the trip across the Pacific required. He's basically playing like a buffoon and blaming the game for it. This "I can't run at 4x a prudent TC" complain seems to be the basis of his review's problems with the game.

Of all the complaints in that short review, most are attributed to the user/user's PC and the rest are slated to be fixed. *shrug* Well, except for DRM...

Poor review. Nothing on the actual gameplay - though I doubt that would have improved their opinion of the game - but if you're going to review a game, try to get a little more in-depth than "it runs slow and DRM sucks."

Yeah I didn't think that review was worth the bandwidth it took to get to my box. :nope:
