Type 4 conning tower

Despite this tower looking awesome, it is now impossible to manually man the deck gun or the wintergarden flak, unless any of you guys know how to??

Just thought I would let you know in case you get to the upgrade

Climb the ladders. Works for me.

We are talking about the same tower aren't we? only I can find gaps in the railings or ladders on the outside.....

You need to climb down to the deck and then walk all the way behind the WinterGarden and there are small step ladders.. beats the hell outta me why you can't just slide under a few bars instead of running all over..

Oh I see....so if I want to get to the front of the boat, I have to go to the stern....makes sense! Thanks for that because it has had me stumped!!!:up:

I'm talking about if you want to use say the 37mm flak. If you want to use the Deck gun, climb down to the deck and go to the bow...

Yeah thats what I am asking, how do you get down to the deck, where is the ladder located??

It's on the side of the conning tower - towards the rear.


Have a look around and you should find it:up:

Hi,

You will not "See" the ladder, the ladder rungs are welded to the side of the conning tower. Once you use them once you will be able to see them and it makes sense.


If you keep walking into the rails toward the back, you will slide under them and walk down the ladder :)
