Next Monday on CH4...

Blitz Street

To mark the 70th anniversary of the Blitz, Tony Robinson presents a four-part science and history series that aims to give some idea of what it must have been like to live under the ferocious and constant bombardment of the Blitz and to explain why it ultimately failed. Blitz Street itself is a row of terraced houses specially built on a remote military base.

Jim if you have the Quest channel (really good) They have Al Murry the pub landlord doing a Road to Berlin documentary. It's on tonight, about 11pm, but as you are a retired ol' man I guess you don't have to worry about staying up on a school night, :)

No, they found that german planes didn't really fly in museums so never bothered to provide AA cover inside them.

Ta for that but if I'm to be totally honest with you I doubt I'll be in a fit state to understand anything come 11PM after our status as champions is confirmed.....I'll be happy if I can get through half of my curry.

The wife is under strict orders to cling film the remnants and I'll microwave it tomorow for my brunch.
