Hi Chaps,

There's a documentary called 'Dive Detectives' on National Geographic at 8pm on Friday in the UK. If you have Sky+, it is already on the Sky Anytime section. The blurb says:

Submarine Graveyard: The Fletchers brave shark - infested waters in search of two missing WWII submarines. What they discover ranks among the best finds of their careers.

I have no idea if they find the subs, or if it's any good, but it's there if you want to watch it!

EDIT: I'm assuming it's about US subs, as it's in 'shark infested' waters.
EDIT2: Yes, it's about the USS Robalo and the USS Flier.

It's a series we get over here on our Canadian History Television channel. This is actually one of their better efforts. They're a Canadian team and they used to have a program called The Sea Hunters (ironically with Clive Cussler) but it was pretty lame as they usually didn't find what they were ultimately looking for and tended to overdramatize some of the risks.

This is their 'new' show called Dive Detectives and it seems a better show than their previous one.
:salute:

Thanks to South Park the movie, I can differenciate between Canadian and American accents now, if they say the right words. It's much better than the previous test of 'Did they ask whether I thought they were Canadian or American?'.

I saw the previous one aout the Ghost Ship, that no-one knew what it was and it seemed like a good team, sometimes these documentaries can be a bit hit and miss. The Clive Cussler one, yeah that was pretty poor.

South Park is a satirical comedy. In Canada, like the United States, every area has a different accent. I wouldn't go by a silly cartoon for education. :-?

Some things shouldn't be taken seriously. :) Has anyone watched this? Any good? (No spoilers!)
