My grandfather had these sausage fingers.. His index and middle finger together, he slapped the top of the bottle cap and clean cut the glass knob off it... then drink from the broken bottle.. All I know is I never wanted to get slapped by him. :o My cousins weren't so fortunate.. :nope:

Those are a lot of variations on the same theme. Make or find a stiff edge and lever it off using your thumb for the fulcrum. Taught to me by a drunkard Renn Faire participant. Use a spoon and it pops off sounding like a champagne cork!
