Hello,

I was quite surprised to receive the following message, from user "Eternity" (status: +Guest):

Hey,I'm new here, how's it going?"The most fundamental harm we can do to ourselves is to remain ignorant by not having the courage and the respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently" - Pema Chodron---

And then an URL that I won't copy here.

No post from that user. Seems it's SPAM, according to a quicksearch on Google. It's mentioned on many other websites.

Neal, to be investigated? Can guests post any message, here?

I received a PM from a registered member of this forum yesterday complaining of an identical issue...I referred them to the report bad PM button for Neal to deal with it.

Eternity the Spambot who instead of posting its spam in public was private messaging its spam around here on Subsim, the spambot has been removed yesterday but we can't remove the spam messages he send throught PM's thats up to you to delete if you happen to have one.

the reason he shows up as Guest is because his User Account has been deleted.

Thanks for the information.

I had already reported the spam message to Neal, as described by Jimbuna, although not needed anymore, unfortunately.

It's always good to report, mate :salute:
especially in the case of Spambots, we want to keep this place spamfree.

Thanks!
