New to Silent Hunter 4 and was wondering what the must have mods are which are out there.
Looking for good gfx mod and also a sound mod to get me started and any others that members can think of.

Best is, you try one of the supermods. Either RFB (Real Fleet Boat) or TMO (Trigger Maru Overhauled), both with RSRD (Run Silent, Run Deep). Those mods bring a lot and give much more to the stock game.
I only hope you've bought Version 1.5 of the game...

So I install RSRD separate to TMO or RFB? 1.5 is the uboat one isn't it? Thats the one I got.

Installation: SHIV => U-Boot-Addon => TMO + Patch or RFB + Patch => RSRD + Patch
With RSRD you have to look at the version you're downloading. It has different versions for TMO and RFB.
