"Jjihad in self-defence" not anti-ethical to human rights.

This, plus AI cooperating with an active Taliban figure in joint propaganda issues.

http://www.jpost.com/International/Article.aspx?id=172534

I am used to a lot of antiintellectual trashtalk when it comes to Islam, but this display of unlimited human stupidity and lacking edcuation - stumbling over it in a most innocent state of mind while sipping some morning tea - simply stunned me. In moments like this I sometimes think that all hope for human mental evolution is gone and lost, forever.

AI runs a longer history of antisemitic bias and pro-Islamic sympathies, but with this now it becomes clear that the organisation is set to join the same fate like the UN Islamic Rights Council that people who had no sense for fun and kidding once dissmissively called "Human Rights Council".

That Obama thinks he must ennoble this wicked institution (the UN Islamic Council), that openly calls for the destruction of freedoms, rights and liberties in humanistic understanding, by attending it's meeting later this year, again illustrates some of the dangerous illusions this man has on his mind. Naivety and good intentions are two very different things. Western nations owe it to themselves to reduce their UN contributions by the ammounts of money the Council is consumming, and to stay away from it and boycott it until it is gone completely.

So fighting in self defence is not unethical.
Thats outrageous.
Hold on I get it, its one of Skys contrary days, he has gone back to his there is no ethics approach.
After all them laws of war that he praises one day and then rejects the nextdo state that people have a right to self defence, and if they take up arms to fight an invasion are counted as lawful combatants(terms and conditions apply)

This, plus AI cooperating with an active Taliban figure in joint propaganda issues.

Wow.
You have to laugh at the article though, I normally expect better from the JP, "alledged taliban supporter" what on earth does that mean?
Damn thats easy, how could I miss it, Begg was in Gitmo for years before they decided he hadn't done anything and released him. Now he campaigns against Gitmo, since Gitmo houses some Taliban that means he must be a Taliban supporter:rotfl2:
Come to think of it sky has railed against the rendition and bending of the laws surrounding Gitmo so that means he must be a Taliban supporter too, after all whats good for the goose is good for the gander:har:

Ah I see another problem.AI runs a longer history of antisemitic bias
....antisemitic bias? yet it has many Jewish staff.
Oh I get it , Sky is being rather foolish in making a simple error and is unable to differentiate between criticism of the actions of the Israeli State and hatred of Jews.
Which is sad really as it does a real dis-service to the struggle against antisemitism, you know that rather nasty manifestation of that strange hatred people have on the basis of peoples religion...like Sky himself has with some religions:up:

Holy war in self-defense.

Meaning self-defense of the "Holy?" Why else use "jihad" in self-defense, and not simply "war in self defense?"

So defense of the FAITH is implied in that statement.

"Playboy is anathema to the true faith! Jihad!" (BOOM goes the suicide bomber).

"That cartoon offends our child-rapist prophet!" BOOM!

Amnesty International has been about 20 cards short of a full deck for at least the last decade.

I wouldn't doubt that a frontal lobotomy was a prerequisite for the top job with that group....

Is there any other type of war in the world of Islam? Seems all wars are Jihads.

Its really funny when you look at the question the petitioners asked Amnesty, which got the response.
Whoda thought in their attacks on AI for its association with the anti-Gitmo campaign they would be saying the Taliban were the same as some american Christians.

In principle islam still suffers an inferiority complex (right so) since Napoleon landed in Egypt and they suddenly had to realise that all their claimed civilisational superiority was only a hallucination. Like Muhammad was deeply offended and reacted with war and genocide when the Jewish scholars demonstrated their theological and rethorical superiority over his self-lectured bits and tids of theological "knowledge", Islam also sees it as a narcissistic humiliation that there came a foreign power that was able to reach the muslim world, was able to walk in their lands bringing all those skills and items displaying their superior civilisation and knoweldge with them, and rendering all the imagined glory of theirs meaningless. Because, you have to understand, the earlier Muslim invasion of and attack on Europe, that was something totally different.

The rabid aggression of Islam is a combination of both: narcissistic insult and inferiority, and the Islamic peace concept that says there is no peace where there still is something that is not Islam. Peace, argues Islam, is only possible where Islam rules and dominates and is not being put into question by anything that exists and is not under islamic total control, or is Islam itself. when Islam is "endangered" by being put into question by asking critical questions, or displaying superiority that derives from sources and skills that are not that of Islam, Islam feels attacked and declares the case of self-defence. You see right that almost every time when Muslims in the West complain about how massively they are being "discriminated" and "supressed" although they enjoy greater freedoms and protections here than in their own home countries. even that Wetsern superiority in freedoms and liberties is anarcissistic offence. :haha: Seen that way, since Napoleon's expedition to Egypt they indeed suffer the torments of hell - a hell that is filled with neurotic, sexually supressed narcissists. :D The more free they live in the West, the more they are offended.

Well, life sucks.
