WIndows 7 and Sh4..

Hi ubootmenchs....I am waiting for a débug SH5 and the futur BigMega Patch to fix the majority of bugs ( majority ??) , and in this time of waiting, i had try to reinstall may "old" SH4...

But, i have all .....but no image....only sounds...so i dont be able to clik somewhere or something else....!!

I retry to open it like and Administrator and with Vista SP2 compatibitity, but stll the same.....Black screen with light music of interface....
Any ideas...???:|\\

And, by the way, how i can change my Avatar...??? :o

I had trying to install in first time on my default "C" and after that, on a speparate partition on other hard disq.....Same result..!!!:damn::ping:

then i could only guess for a graphic driver issue, or maby with directx...

can you run any other 3d games, preferably a game that uses dx10/11

First, Big Tanks Morpheus for your support, i fully appreciate.....SO yes, i run for example Fsx with some planes and scenery who use Dx10 a without any problem....!!
It seem Sh4 and Win7 are compatible so i realy dont know what wrong with that...!!
Recently i had to try with 4.1 patch , but my game is "WOlfs of Pacific with extension Uboot Mission ( Gold Edition) so my version are 1.5 earlier than patch 1.4...SO not result....Still same with black screen and music....Nice music by the way....!!:rock::D

ANd always never found the way to change my avatar..!!!

I remember SH4 wanting to install DX9.0c

One should belive that this won't be necessary on Win7. However, the game won't run without this installation. Probably there are some specific dx files included to make SH4 run.

You can't change your avatar in this forum. It changes by itself, depending on your postcount.

HORRRRIDDOOO.....I finaly find by miself the resolution of my f.....king problem.....Oups sorry....!!

LET YOUR GRAPHIC CARD CHOSE HERSELF THE RESOLUTION AND THE PARAMETER .......dont do a personnal choice.....

I comfirm for sh4 and Win7, there are very compatible...if you let chose your graphic card the parameter manage by "application" and not by yourself...:sunny:

I installed SH4 on window7 and get the startup ubi screen, video with poem and then black screen while loading and black screen with menu music. Also I never had to enter the cd key after installing?


Doh! I guess it works fine if you run as administrator. My bad.:88)
