It was only a matter of time after reading all about SH5 that I would return to SH3 and all the amazing mods that have come out since the last time I fired it up over a year ago . I installed it on a new laptop running Windows 7 Premium. I was a bit hesitant after reading all the posts about issues with 7 but I was lucky enough to have zero issues on the install ( I used the patched starforce free disc). I installled GWX3, SH3 Cmndr and FM Interiors. I have been going through the mods for the past couple hours trying to determine what else to put on. After doing that all morning I hope to actually get time to play a bit tonight!

I'm also returning to SH3 with GWX3 from SH4 for a bit.

Can anyone tell me how to get the crew to automatically change out without me having to babysit them all during the trip?

Seems I remember them doing it automatically at one point in SH3. Am I wrong?

I don't think there's any way to make them rotate shifts automatically.

If you use SH3 Commander you can select a "fatigue model" that you like, but the only one I know of that makes it completely unnecessary to manually move the crew from a workstation into quarters for rest & rehab is the "No Fatigue" option which removes the fatigue factor from the game completely.

Then they can stay wherever they are for an entire patrol and fatigue is not an issue, which means you can choose to rotate them around if and when you feel like it.

You can also edit the game files to remove the fatigue issue at the source.

Otherwise I think you're pretty much stuck with babysitting them so they change shifts regularly and don't tire out.

Yea its the one thing I do not like about SH3 is the micromanagement of the crew.

This was fixed in SH4 with Shifts.
