So at work today while going over endless new cases filed by the firm I was talking with my supervisor who was my age in the 1980's and lived, worked and went to college under a great President.I was really young during the Reagan years and only remember seeing him on TV.I learned to appreciate him as I grew up and learned more and more.Anyway, I searched you tube and found some good clips that makes me wish he was alive even more and still able to be President or someone cut from the same cloth will come along and save us from Jimmy Carter, Round II.

Ronnie Rayguns was my hero.
I'll never forget the Saturday morning radio address where he didn't realize he was back on the air and said something to the effect of "I've just signed legislation outlawing the Soviet Union. Bombing will commence in 5 minutes".
We miss you Gipper!

When he was shot and was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, he raised his head and looked at the main surgeon, then around the room. He (weakly) asked the surgeon "Are you a republican?"
The surgeon smilled and said "If I wasn't - I am one today Mr. President".
Never forget to be thankful for all those who give of themselves - regardless of political stripe - to serve, help and protect our nation and those in it.
