An a-z of taxes you probably will only have to pay a few of, many of which come down to your personal choice:doh:
Its amazing how you don't even have to go beyond the first few "forced to pay" taxes to realise how much bollox that claim contains:rotfl2:
If you don't like the taxes then move either yourself or your money to somewhere that has better taxes:up:

maybe you enjoy ileagal taxing not me.

but they have the guns and rules so we cant really do much about it.

or can we?

freedom of speech we still have =just, so i post it up the taxes that many are forced to pay out.

many of them are bull...

all they do is line the rich familes pockets more. taxes are not going back into helping the common people much.

anyway your from the uk and ireland. one of the heaviest taxed western countries in the world. nothing much in return for it.

You forgot a few...

Rain tax (Rainwater that falls onto non-permiable surfaces you own is estimated and a tax applied to you for it)

Fat tax (Taxes on specific foods such as candy, soda etc. that are deemed "fattening" by government - and thus subject to additional taxation over and above standard sales taxes)

I probably could name a slew more, but the point is already made - we are taxed to death....

Wait - we are taxed on that too - the Death tax......

If the taxes are illegal then don't pay them, simple isn't it.

Yeah, that $5.00 per year dog tax has to go! :nope:

A N D W O R S E . . .
Many of these taxes require that one file a form.
As a rule, the forms are over-complex, and require vast amounts of record keeping, AND TIME.

F.eks.
What is the registered weight of your vehicle?
What is the unladen weight of your vehicle?
How much fuel did you buy in X?
How many loaded miles did you drive in X?
How many empty miles did you drive in X?
Followed by: "Now YOU figure out YOUR tax".

Multiply variations of this process by the number of nations/states/provinces traversed.

Simple solution to that, if you don't like it don't do the job.
No one forces people to work as a haulier do they.

It's an important job and someone has to do it.

Maybe (gasp) they enjoy their work except for the intrusive goverment.

I think this might be said for a lot of jobs.

It's an important job and someone has to do it.

Yes but no one forces them to do it.
If they take the job they know all the ins and outs beforehand, if they then choose to add more paperwork on top of that by working across multiple regions then they can expect to have to deal with all the different taxes in all those countries and then the claiming back or writing off of some of those taxes in their own country.
I suppose it might be possible to do away with al these taxes and all the paperwork that makes business such a pain....perhaps follow the example of the Cambodian great leap forward as a method of cutting down on accounting.

HAMSTER ON A WHEEL......:wah:

Nice copy & paste. Do you have any original thoughts?

Anyway, non-american subsimmers should know that not all Americans are right wingers, despite the lack of diverse political thought portrayed in these forums by most of its American members. Our President is Obama, and most voters actually voted for him!!

Our President is Obama, and most voters actually voted for him!!

Key word there is VOTED - which is PAST TENSE....

What are O's approval numbers at currently? Lets look shall we?

Lets look at his Presidential Approval Index, thats gotta be great for the Chosen One right? Wrong - its at -16.....

(The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.)

44% of the country STRONGLY disapproves of O.... only 28% strongly approve. Thats how he gets a -16....

Overall - he has a 53% disapproval rating nationally....

The people who elected him - the independants (who really elect everyone) - have left the O'team in droves....

CNN's latest poll - that "conservative bastion" (hear the sarcasm in my typing???) has him with a job approval rating of -5, 46% approve/51% disapprove....

Allow me to remind you of the quote so many democrats used during the Bush administration....

"He isn't MY president - I didn't vote for him!"

But somehow now that a guy you like is in office, suddenly everyone is supposed to be saddled with the ignomy of having him as the "leader" of the country?

My, the irony.... I am SHOCKED - SHOCKED I say - at how quickly the revolving door goes the other way.... And it should be noted - it does it for both sides....

You forgot about the 5 cent tax on popcans and plastic drinking water. Look at the bright side, you could live in the city of Portland (OR), they are diverting sewer funds to build 600 mile of bike lanes:haha:. But they have no money for anything else, like po-lice. Liberal eco-greenies at work.:haha:
You get what you vote for.
