If this is real, Can you still see youself when your on the deck in external view? If so , screenshot or it didnt happen.

Since SH3 doesn't have the AI scripts (to my knowledge), I wouldn't think so.

I don't understand. Heretic has put the link up for the mod that installs a captain on the bridge in free camera mode. How can that be a fake?

Hmmm - hardly fake , just doen't work with your setup. Could it be that one of your other mods is conflicting with it?

I think I read that it doesn't work with the "mighty fine crew mod" could it be something like this?:hmmm:

As a pro tip: it's much easier if you don't use word "fake" as first comment if mod you tested do not give results it is claimed to do. You want to get those good mods coming soon (yep you read correct I'm optimist:D) and get help for them it's better to be little more polite.

Don't burn bridges you may need!

I TOTALLY agee with, "kraznyi_oktjabr" - CIVILITY y'all ! If it doesn't work for you, it DOESN'T mean it doesn't work for ANYONE! Further, "magic" is being performed on SH5 (and 4 and 3...) on a daily basis by talented people devoting their time to helping us enjoy the game!

Not tried seeing the cpt but when YOU man the deck gun
Scroll back with the mouse wheel
Takes the camera way back behind the gun
Not sure if you can pan around to see you ( cpt ) :doh:

You cannot see yourself. There is the aforementioned mod, but the 'captain' is rooted to one spot on the tower, and not the position you occupied before switching to the external view.

In any case, what does it matter? Is it really that critical?

No its not but they could have animated it.
