I died tonight!

Attacking a 3 ship convoy off Alexandria Aug 41, hit all 3 ships but none sank. Was waiting for reload and destroyer pounced , i dived to 75 meters, hit hard starboard , it dropped a full stick right on me and i flooded and sank in around 20 seconds!

Deleted all my saves and have started again.

entering port after a very long 12 hr marathon run ( REAL TIME ) get hit by something while hitting the anchor, the end mission comes up and it auto saves my game.
WHILE I"M DIEING.....ALL IS LOST. I restart and it CTD's I wasted an entire day off.:nope:

Then I thought !!!!!!
....A PERFECT DAS BOOT ENDING. :rock:

AND I couldn't be happier:D Nobody else will do that.

Lol, happened to me too, I was actually speaking to the commander to get a new mission when the game realized I was cheating death and killed me where I stood. For You, The War is over!

Im pretty sure that in the Das Boot ending it was an enemy aircraft dropping bombs that did the damage not friendly merchants. ;)

hmm, I think Wolfgang Petersen may have liked that ending too. You have gone through all that and finaly sunk by a 'friendly' merchant...
