Hello,
"... This video contains content from UMG. It is no longer available in your country. ..."
Censorship by youtube again, now not exclusively China ?
During the last weeks, i am suddenly not able to view a lot of youtube vids anymore. It i somehow not even connected to some rights management, since i think a lot of advertisements for documentaries have no need for protecting their "rights" or DRM ?
I have set the youtube settings to english, and worldwide, but it does not work.
Then i tried to get the "high quality" vid in adding "&fmt=6" behind the link, but it does not work either.
Is there any help available ?
Thanks and greetings,
Catfish

Looks awesome! Can't wait to see that.
Ironically it was only being talked about a couple of days ago

Trust me it's far better this way than how they did it before (as in just delete the video for everyone).
From what I understand, now a distributer like Universal Music Group can't force a universal deletion of a file unless it is distributing worldwide which is rarely the case.
For example, I upload music video that has different distributor in America and EU. EU is fine with the video being there, but the American isn't, in this case, the video will be blocked from viewing in America, but not in EU.

Hello,
well i'd understand if it was a Madonna or whatever video, but an advertisement for a documentary ? Maybe you saw a swastika there (would still be allowed in history documentaries) ? Or the music ?
Maybe Sony or whoever bought the rights to perform Beethoven, or some other composer ?

If they feel the need to censor it, perhaps it isn't worth watching after all.
