It says on the Mission Orders Sink 2 capital ships on escort duty
I presume that does not mean Destroyers but i have been sailing around for days and not a sniff of them (Date 25th November 40)
Any advice gratefully accepted

I Take it i am looking for a Cruiser something like a Dido or can it be that i need to find that 2 funnel troop carrier lookalike

Your XO will tell you if its a capital ship. Think its anything above a destroyer

Would you credit it I was on my final tour and i just got a glimps of a task force went after it and low and behold A Carrier 2 Battlewagons 3 Cruisers and a whole lot of destroyers had a great time with the Carrier went up like a nuke had hit it same for the battleship. wanted to hang around but the game decided to end and say that i had completed the campaign
Oh well at least i managed to get the campaign sorted

Having identical problem with later missions in Mare Nostrum campaign. Force H, Force A, Malta supplies. Only getting across task forces composed by Kent cruisers. Weirdest mission objectives ever.

I sunk a carrier november 03 1940 at Long. 20° W Lat. 55° 45" N heading east surrounded by 10 escort ships. Looking for another capital ship...
