Seems that the UK version of the Silent Hunter website has an interactive and public Captain's Log feature. Just another thing missing (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/1121062387/m/2691011048) from the US website.

Under Community section click on the Online Log tab (http://silent-hunter.uk.ubi.com/silent-hunter-5/leaderboard.php?stat=0) and you'll find the leader board as seen in game, but this time with account names (yay security!) and links to ALL the patrol logs for a user. You can search it too to find your friends, or enemies!

Click on a Captain Name to get the list of their patrols:

Took me a while to figure that out!! I had higher tonnage than people on the leader board but wasn't on it. Then published my log and got to 69 in the World!!!!:rock:

Hah you couldent bring yourself to push that button either...

Frankly I dont give a crap about a leaderboard what with all the mods out here its meaningless. Someone will mod nulcear tipped endless supply of torpedoes and poof there goes the stats.

The logbook is kind of fun though.

I got a laugh out of who was Number 2 in your list. ;)

seems like rank is based on warship-tonnage?

Just look at their merchant tonnage, 2,5 millions! Do you think thats enough to meet ingame requirements?

You can sort them out to show the best warship tonnage, best merchant tonnage or the total tonnage.

I have to admit I am not crazy about my user name/patrol history being available for the whole world to see. Who knows what use that info can be put to. Is there a way to block it?

I was also surprised to see the list only has about 6,000 names. Since everyone has to supposedly be online to play, could the sales of SH5 be that low?

You have to grant consent by clicking a button to upload it.

Thats probably why you only see 6,000 most pepole dont click the button... like me ;)

I also noticed no. 9 in total tonnage was called "Uber Gruber".

coincidence?.....:o
