Ive recently started adding mods downladed from SS to SHV...Being an experienced tweaker and mod installer for most of the MS Flt Sims, I got the general idea and a little noodling around the SHV files should help me understand where the replaceable files are located. Although I aient there yet I gotta learn..

Question..When replacing the original file with a modded file, do I need to simply change the name of the original file...ie Crewface.xxx to ///Crewface.xxx.before replacing it with mod..OR should I cut and paste the original file somewhere else?

It would be easier to change the original name and leave it there, but dont know ifit would screw sumtin' up

Did you read and install this...?
And just wonder... SS to SH5? What is SS? JSGME just overwrites stock files.
