HUD in Missions not working

Help please,
When I enter the "Mission" game the HUD does not display anything in the lower left screen or the upper Right screen at all....The Hint and Objectives and the Combat log parts are ok......Does not show depth or speed controls....Lower Left.....Does not show time compression or management screens either....Upper Right.

This is a new unmoded install from disk with latest update from your Ubsoft site.

NOTE: This only occurs in the mission mode......In the Historic or Single mode it works OK.....very strange...I tried a lot including reloading but can't find the way to fix this??????

If that's the first mission, they spoon feed the UI to you piece by piece as a tutorial. Would have been nice if they told you! :stare: Just keep doing what your told and on the first real mission it will "all" be there.

Also, your left wondering what to do in the pen at that point. You can't board the boat so head further into the pen till you get the two characters that highlight. The first guy lets you load your eels, and the second gives you your mission. When in that map, you select the mission at the top left box that you may need to open with the orange arrow. Close the map, talk to the same guy and select the start dialog. You'll see.

That did the trick! I've been with this since Silent Hunter I and nerver seen the like! It just keeps getting better all the time with the addition of Silent Hunter 5, but they should pay a little more detail to the startup information.
