Mods not working?

Hi I have installed JSGME but I can't seem to get any mods to work, what have I done wrong??

I have installed JSGME to the base folder and activated the mods just like I would for SH4, except when I go into game none of the mods have taken effect, is there anything else I need to do?

Which mods? Make sure the mods are JSGME compatible and have the proper folder structure.

Hi Demowhc,

I advise you that you firstly unpack a mod to your desktop to take
a look at the files.

To let a mod work with the game you should look the structure.
I take an example,

If you open a mod and the structure looks like this,
tidimod, tidimod, data etc then its false to install.

The structure should read
tidimod, data etc.

And if you done that and installed it you can zip it again and save it for yourself.

Thanks for the replies guys, it was user error, derr :P I now have the mods working :)

also, I cannot hear any voices etc in the sub, when I change speed, course, hit targets etc the crew is silent, the only time I hear them say anything is when I click on them directly to talk to them.. is that normal??

That's a nasty bug, but I haven't tracked down the cause yet. Save/Reload usually takes care of it though. Kills your morale, but I'm running MoraleMod to overcome that. :)

ok thanks, I'll install moral mod and try a few save/loads to see if I can get sound back
