Well when last I posted, I had rid myself of Bernard by tossing him overboard after he fired on Belcher, the resupply ship off Greenland. I resupplied after tons of mea culpeas to the captain of Belcher, and hastily departed to resume patrol as I wound my self through AK searching for more prey. I managed to sink five ships during this part of the patrol including two tankers and two medium cargo ships. Out of torpedoes I upped my TC to 128 to speed my return to Whilmanshaven, eager to collect my medals and add to my gradually accumulating reknown.
Just off og Helgoland, Boom, Bang, Sputter, Splash -- We are taking damage---Blub, Blub RIP U-51.
I have been sunk now three times between helogloand and the the deep water off Sweden and Norway --Always running on high TC 128 to 512. When Will I ever learn.

One of the great lessons of life that SH3 teaches is patience, patience, patience--it seems that I doze off during those lessons. OH well maybe someday.

Meanwhile back to the safety of the Briar Patch.

What was that? What did killed you? ...If it happens me on that way, unexplained death while TC 128+, i do just reload my save game. I do always save game after major events or sinkings. Its good reload a game if something unusual happens and destroys career and it is not captain fault.

D.I.D. has its ups and downs. This was definately a down. As the "Confession" says "through my fault, my own fault, my own grevious fault."

My lack of patience and excitement of getting to port after almos 7 that of my crew.

Oh, well the Fatherland being what is is I'm sure that an able and eager replacement crew and stalwart kaleun is - even as I speak chaffin at the bit to sink the English swein.

As I will give Helgoland a wide berth.

I believe the sea floor around Heligoland is littered with the wrecks of U-boats with their unsuspecting crews and Kaluens. :dead:

I always try to give it a wide berth.

Some people don't like the full radio report, but there is one in there that specifically says the Brits have been mining the area around Helgoland.:dead:

I did post a screenshot recently of the minefield positions to east and west of Heligoland.

I'm sorry, I can't remember the thread title but I do recall said minefields cease to exist approx. mid 41 IIRC.

Heligoland? Sweden & Norway? I think not.

Explain....do you require further evidence?

Of problems near Heligoland? No.

Location. Heligoland is near Danmark and Germany, not Norway, and especialy not Sweden.
